If you have landed on this page you might be thinking of joining the pack and we couldn't be more excited! At RockinDachs, we offer two different waitlist options: Priority waitlist and our Basic waitlist. Please read the full article before applying to our waitlists.
Our Priority waitlist is for those who have chosen RockinDachs as their preferred breeder and are committed to getting a puppy from us, even if that means waiting a bit for their perfect puppy to be born. Joining our Priority list means you will be given the first pick from litters that meet your puppy preferences. Our Priority list does require a $100 Waitlist deposit to join. Deposits are transferable between litters if the first available litter doesn't have your perfect puppy and does go towards the final purchase price of your puppy. Waitlist Deposits do not lock in the total price of your puppy as there may be changes in the market and the associated price fluctuations that come with it during your time on our waitlist.
Our Basic waitlist is free to join and is perfect for those trying to see what our litters will bring but are still looking into other programs as well. We get it. There are a lot of options out there and you want to choose the right puppy for you. We want that too.
Both of our waitlists require an application to join. We reserve the right to deny any sale that we feel would not be in the best interest of our puppies.
We announce all litter births on our social media so make sure you are following @Rockindachs on Facebook, Instagram, or both. Once the puppies' colors and coat types have been determined at around two weeks, we will email our Priority list and allow them one week to pick out their match. We email all members of the Priority Waitlistist at the same time so please make sure you are letting us know as soon as you have made your decision. If more than one person reaches out about the same puppy the person who has been on the waitlist the longest will be matched with the puppy. The second person will be allowed to either pick another puppy or pass on this litter. Once the puppies are three weeks the Basic list will be emailed about any remaining available puppies and allowed 48 hours to pick out their match, after which we will list any remaining puppies publicly. Just like with our Priority Waitlist, we email all members of the Basic Waitlistist at the same time so please make sure you are letting us know as soon as you have made your decision. If more than one person reaches out about the same puppy the person who has been on the waitlist the longest will be matched with the puppy. The second person will be allowed to either pick another puppy or pass on this litter.
If you are passing on the litter please make sure to tell us. We allow our Priority list to pass on five litters and the Basic list to pass on three, after which we will reach out and discuss if we are the right program for you or if we misunderstood your puppy preferences. Passing on a litter does not move you to the bottom of the waitlist you will retain your place in line. If a waitlist member misses the email notification they can still pick from our available puppies, they just lose the ability to have first choice before our litters are made available to the public.
Both of our waitlists operate based on who has seniority on the list. If more than one person reaches out about the same puppy the person who has been on the waitlist the longest will be matched with the puppy. The second person will be allowed to either pick another puppy or pass on this litter. Please note that we will send the email notifications all at once so if you see your perfect puppy companion please speak up before someone else does.
Please note you are not restricted to only choosing a puppy that matches the preferences on your application. If you see one of our little ones that captures your heart you can claim them.
You can upgrade from the Basic to the Priority list at any time as long as you are aware that it means paying the $100 waitlist deposit.
It is the responsibility of our waitlist members to make sure we always have updated contact information. If we are unable to reach you or do not hear from you after two litters matching your preferences we will move you to our Inactive list. If you reach out after you have been marked Inactive and request to be back on one of our waitlists you will be placed at the bottom of the list so please make sure you keep in contact with us to prevent that.
While our waitlists have the first pick before the public we reserve the right to the first pick out of any litter before the waitlists if we choose to retain a puppy for future breeding consideration.

After you have found the perfect puppy you will need to place a non-refundable Hold Deposit of $500. This is separate from your Waitlist Deposit and will also be applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy. The Hold Deposit is due within 24 hours of selecting your puppy. Your Hold Deposit will lock in the final price of your puppy.
You've picked out your puppy and placed your Hold Deposit so now it's time to celebrate and prepare to welcome them home. Please make sure to go over all of our About Us and Care pages to give your puppy the best start in its new home.
